This stall has been operational since my teenage years. It was lost after the coffeeshop was revamped into this halal foodcourt:

Then a reader (thanks Noxeh!) told me about their new location in another chinese coffeeshop but just beside the old block (blk 201d). The rendang was still as tasty as it used to be but not as tender as it used to be. But I like the tastiness of the rendang and the sweet sambal chicken. YUMMY!
Total cost is about $12. Quite cheap if u see that we ordered a lot.
I was shocked when my food partner came with a mountain of nasi padang for me. But berbaloi....definite worth it!
So can we make so much noise when there isnt any goal? heheh!

Walau! I just typed in 201D beef rendang in google, hoping to find something on it (since I've heard about it on this blog b4). And a new location! Must try, the rendang looks so shiok!
My current favorite is at Rendezvous Nasi padang, so lets see how this compares. Too bad, I'm away from home in USA........
